Contrary to Jira, there’s no way to confirm a friending at a glance in ELM. But we can attempt setting up a Project Association to make sure the application friending is complete.
You can set up a Project Association in IBM ELM by following this procedure:
Open the project area for which you want to set up a project association.
At the bottom of the Overview, in Associations, click Add.
Select the Friend you recently added, then an Association Type that matches the domain of the friend.
Authenticate to the remote tool in the opening popup.
Note that if you are already authenticated, the popup will close automatically. If you are having problems at this point, please check the Troubleshooting friending issues in ELM article.
Once the authentication popup is gone, confirm that you see the list of remote projects.
If you managed to follow every step of this procedure without seeing any errors, it means that the friending between Polarion and the remote OSLC application is correctly set up.
If you encounter errors following the project association procedure, you’ll want to follow this troubleshooting guide before you go further: Troubleshooting friending issues in ELM.
